    Power brick


    My power brick for the Xbox One stopped working during gameplay. I took some forum here and disconnected everything. After awhile, I plugged the brick only in...Orange Solid Light. After 5 minutes, I went ahead and plugged the brick to the xbox and the brick shut off. I haven't read or seen anything on this.

    The reason your Power Brick is making a humming noise, is because inside of the power brick. Is a little fan, this fan keeps your Power Brick at the correct temperature. If your power brick gets hot, the fans RPM will increase and it will make a humming
    sound because your XBOX Power Brick Fan is cooling down your Power Brick. Nothing to worry about unless it's a roaring sound.

    *UPDATE* I'm not sure if it was because of the update or not but the root cause was my power brick. Either the update affected my power brick (which I don't know if it's even possible) or the power brick was faulty and just happened to
    have issues during the update. I took it to Gamestop and they plugged up a different power brick and it booted up fine. The old power brick always stays orange. If you have this issue, check the power brick.
