power brick orange then white then orange

hi there i have an xbox one and the power brick is always orange and the xbox wont start up. when the power from the mains is turned on the brick goes orange then white then orange again. the xbox when pressed on at the box goes on for about a second or
two. can you give me any advice at all

Got my Xbox back from Service.....and it doesn't even turn on.

Tried multiple outlets and the LED light on the power brick is orange. Turns white for a second when an attempt to power up the machine is made. Then back to orange and nothing happens.

My xbox power brick does not turn on and if i turn it into the wall then he becomes first orange and then white and then the pwer brick goes out can someone help me

 

Does stay sold white at all?

 

Sounds like theres a fault with either the power cable or the power brick to me.

If you have a mate with an xbox 1 near by you could try theres to see if theres works on your console.

I'm having this same issue. Never ends on solid white. After 2 cycles the power brick stops on orange and the xbox is unresponsive. Note: when I first plug everything in and I boot up the xbox makes the boot up noise but no lights come on.

Also, i tried a second power source and it has the same problem, seems to be a console issue.

 

Using a power strip can cause this as well.

 

Just an update (my original post is above). I sent my xbox one in fore repair and that fixed my problem. Wasn't a power source issue unfortunately.

 

As @GrowlingYapper stated using a power strip can cause this and is usually diagnosed incorrectly by MIcrosoft Support.
