Power Brick or Console

Xbox one will not turn on. Disconect power brick from console then unplug power brick from power. Connect power to power brick. Yellow light comes on and stays on. Plug power brick to console and the yellow light goes off. Have to disconnect power from
power brick then connect power back to power brick. If power brick is still connected to console the yellow light goes off. If power brick is not connected to console the yellow light stays on. So is the ptoblem with my power brick or my console.

Hi Taz,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. When you plug to the console and the yellow light goes off does it go to any other color? Best way to test this would be to get another power supply and connect it. If it does the same thing it the console.
If the console able to turn on its the power supply.

Consider unplugging the power from the console and the power brick from the console and the power from the power brick and the plugging it all in again. See what happens then.

If your old brick still works try a hard rest of your console before plugging in the new power brick. If not try the power brick on another console if possible.

Unplug console and power brick until power brick goes dead (light out)....
