Power Brick Not Staying On

I go to turn on my Xbox this afternoon and it won't turn on. I checked everything about the box, and it doesn't seem to have anything wrong with it. I look at the power supply and the light is off. I unplug it from the console and wall, then I wait as
the troubleshooting guide suggests. I plug it into the wall and I get an orange light. I then plug in the console and the light goes off immediately. I try the steps again, but I reverse the last bit and plug the console in first then the wall, and the
light stays on for a short bit, and then dies.

I've gone through to try and order a replacement and for some reason Microsoft is rejecting the new card I got. I click on the link that says if you don't have internet click here hoping that I could get a support line. It then links me to post on Twitter
or here in the forums... How is that useful for those without internet??? I'd like to order a replacement part to what is sadly a faulty product. Especially when the power brick does nothing but manage the power consumption for the box...

After all that I just would like a number to call to talk to a person instead of getting road blocked by every crappy part of this website.

xbox one power supply is it just me or?

Spartan, the light staying on after unplugging it is just because there is still power going through the brick. Same thing happens with the 360 power brick, so that's not an issue.

However, my X1 never turned on, ever. The power brick pulses white and that is all. Dead console. And most other people with a power issue at least get to hear the chime, but then it dies. So...having them ship me a new one. Sad I couldn't use my day one
on day one.

Hi there,

since you mentioned you already replaced the power supply (I am assumming it is replaced with a genuine power supply)

If you have tried all steps mentioned on:
support.xbox.com/.../three-flashinglights

and also replaced the powersupply, I would think this could be a problem with the console.

You will likely need to have the console be repaired, you can order a repair for the console via the same link you can order a replacement power supply. This is the link:

If the steps from the links don't sort out the issue, please also try connecting your console to a different wall outlet and then try turning it on. Let me know if it works.

If you can try using a different power supply, please check if it works fine first with a different power supply.

If trying a different outlet and a different power supply doesn't sort out the issue, It definitely is a console issue. I would highly recommend reaching to a near repair center near your area to have the console repaired since the service center has discontinued repair services for Xbox One consoles.

Edit: The power brick DOES flicker and suddenly turn off for about 5 seconds and then goes back to staying orange. Is this a sign to get a new power brick?

Got a new power brick today now my console works,if your power brick stays orange and white light comes on for 2-3 seconds and goes of then you have a faulty power brick you need to get it exchanged.

*UPDATE* I'm not sure if it was because of the update or not but the root cause was my power brick. Either the update affected my power brick (which I don't know if it's even possible) or the power brick was faulty and just happened to
have issues during the update. I took it to Gamestop and they plugged up a different power brick and it booted up fine. The old power brick always stays orange. If you have this issue, check the power brick.
