Power Brick has no Warranty?

OK, so I contacted customer support about my problem with getting no power to my Xbox One consul when I plug in the power brick. The power brick would be yellow/orange, but as soon as I plugged it into the consul the power light would go off. I was informed
to return my consul for warranty replacement, as that was causing the problem. I just received back a consul, but I find that I have the same problem.

When I went to submit a repair order for the brick, I was told it is not under warranty and I would have to buy one. It has not been a year since I bought my system, so why is the power brick not still under the warranty?

power brick has no light still

my xbox one has no light on the power brick and there was no noise or no poping sound. I was just playing on it having no problems at all and it was late so I decided to go to bed so I shut everything off and went to bed but I woke up the next morning to
no light at all on my power brick tried everything to fix it like blowing it out with my compressor didn't work, unplugged it for 2-10 min and it still does not work. ive had this xbox one for 2 to 3 years so I have no warranty on it anymore just looking for
help.

Can you follow the steps here and see if that helps at all.

If it is the Power Brick, you can buy a replacement.

You should dispute this. There is nothing in the warranty that states the power is not covered.

You can try to reset the power brick by disconnecting it for 10 seconds and reconnecting it.

If you still have an amber light on the Xbox power brick, it means that the power brick has to be changed.

In this case, you will need to approach the Xbox support to request a change of the power brick.

If you have red lights on the console then its a hardware failure on the console, if you have the red light on the power brick then the brick itself has a hardware failure...probably the fan has stopped working which causes the brick to cut power to prevent
damaging the console through power outtage

The X1 will power on and work without the controller, it will not without the power brick.

In my eyes, the brick is a component of the system, and not an accessory.

Can I buy a 3rd party power brick and still have the system covered under warranty if it fries? I'm pretty sure that warranty claim would be declined. However, if it's just an accessory, there should be no issue right?

Its best not to use transformers, All consoles power are the same its the power brick that is different, You must use the power brick that conforms to the power supply of the country you are in, Also only use Microsoft power brick for your safety and warranty.
