    Power Brick Failure!

    Hello there.

My xbox one just suddenly turned off by itself. I've checked the power brick and theres no light showing. Also unplugged everything and plugged it back in, swapped the fuse over and nothing working. I'm going to contact Microsoft now directly to ask for
a replacement to be sent out. Can somebody let me know if I've placed my post in the correct forum please. Many thanks.

    :)

    Xbox One Power Problem

I would take it to game stop, check to see if it's a power brick failure. If it isn't a power brick failure, you will have to set up a repair

  3. Power Brick failure.

Power Supplies don't usually make humming noises. If your Power Supply is in a non-ventilated area it will overheat and the temperature will raise, the Power Supply may show a red light and your console may show 3 flashing red lights or no light at all.
if you encounter 3 red lights try the Flashing Lights Solution, if you encounter no power try the No Power Solution. If the Flashing Lights Solution or the No Power Solution doesn't solve your problem your Power Supply will need to be replaced.

Yep, you are in the correct forum. Have you tried using a different wall outlet, or connecting directly to the wall outlets, by passing any "surge protector, or power strips".

If doing that doesn't get you any lights at all on the power supply, then the power supply unit, itself needs replacing.

You can either call xbox support directly, or myservice.xbox.com and do it yourself.

Yes I've tried all the standard workaround. I've just spoke to a support agent via chat and advised me to use myservice to have my power brick posted out and a new one sent back. Find it annoying that I have to fork out my own money to post the old one back
and then wait up to 20 days for a new one. The support agent said it would take up to 10 days, but my email says different.

This is the address I was given off the email to send my faulty power brick to:

    European Repair Centre

    Teleplan Prague s.r.o.

    a Dlouhém 88

    251 01 Říčany-Jažlovice

    Czech Republic

I thought it would be an address in the uk. Can anyone tell me if they have used this address before? Thankyou.

    Hi there.

Ok I've just posted my power brick to the above address. Its cost me £13.15. That includes a tracking number and insured for £50.00. I'm hoping I don't have to wait to long for my replacement. I've noticed other people on the forums in the same boat, having
to wait weeks which is not good. Can anyone tell me if they have had any joy speaking to customer support over the phone?
