Power brick doesn’t work

My power brick stays on orange but then I used my brothers power brick and that one worked but I want to know if I could fix it or if I have to buy another brick

360 slim powersupply

Will the A/C cable from an original 360 power brick work with the slim power brick? Thanks.

Can I use an Xbox 360 slim power brick on an Xbox One

So I have not upgraded to an Xbox One yet, but I found one on Ebay for 218 dollars. The reason it is so cheap is because it comes without a controller and the power brick. I can buy a controller no problem, but that leaves the power brick. From what I have seen online, the power brick for the Xbox One has similar jacks to the one on my Xbox 360 slim. I checked online to see if the power brick would work with the One, but I found no information on it. Do any of you happen to know if it works?

If your Xbox power supply light is orange, there is no fixing it. If it is still under warranty you may want to see if Microsoft will replace it. You can check at
Microsoft XBox support. If it isn't under warranty you may want to check your local game store. Check out
www.gamestop.com online or in store. Hope this helps.

I have the OG box with the external brick, and the original power brick, but it doesn’t work. I got a new one awhile ago. Im sorry I failed to mention I went to get my Xbox repaired at a local place and it worked for a while but started doing the same thing but almost worse. The original power brick doesn’t work anymore, idk why.

The original brick worked when I got my Xbox back from repairs but I decided to use the other one because it was quieter and newer.

The Error Code was something like E208 0000045D 00000005. The start up error or whatever.

Yeah I’ve tried different outlets and unfortunately nothing seemed to help.

This really depends on where and if the power supply is either for Slim, Xbox Pro or Arcade console and may have been burnt because of console type. Go here for help: myservice.xbox.com/.../Welcome.aspx

Since the power brick was overheating you will most likely need to replace it. To be sure if you have access to another one you may want to test it before purchasing a new one.
