    Power Brick Dead After First Start Up?


    Okay. Long Story Short. Won my Xbox One at an arcade place for $30. (Woot!) I get home and set up console. Download and successfully updated console with day one patch and sign in ect ect. Turn off system for the night and go to bed. The next morning the
    system doesn't turn on. I find the power brick is not showing a orange light indicating stand by. I tried the suggestions on Xbox.com and those didn't work. So I registered the console and im waiting for a replacement brick to come in. With that being said,
    anyone else have a completely dead power brick? And when I get my new one, how do I prevent this from happening again? Thanks and sorry for the grammatical errors

    Need some answers about this Disc Drive sound problem, i have gon through 3 XBOX ONEs and all 3 did it.

    Unplug console and power brick until power brick goes dead (light out)....

    My Xbox shuts off immediately

    My Xbox switches off immediately after I start,the power brick goes from Orange to white only for a second. It's since the August update,it switched off after first time and asked to update it again,it happened 3-4 times but now it doesn't start at all.
    Is it an issue with the update ,Xbox or power supply/power supply cord

    Power Brick Dead After First Start Up?

    Hi there it sounds like you got a faulty power brick. The best advice i can bive is make sure the power brick is in a well ventilated area.

    The brick itself was open to breathe. I don't know what happened. Anyway just sent the brick in and awaiting for a replacement one

    Won't start up

    I have the same problem! Since the second to last Insider update my Xbox won't turn on after an update attempt during the night. Power brick is bright orange, while the Xbox is in instant on power mode. When I press the xbox logo it tries to play the start
    up tune but it doesn't and nothing happens. Only way to get it to boot is to unplug the power brick, let it rest for a while, unplug all USB devices and plug the power brick back in. After booting up, manually start the update again, and when it's finished
    plug all USB devices back in. And after that I have no problem booting anymore untill the next update attempt during the night.
