    Just making this silly thread because I was rather happy last night to finish my personal quest of getting each kind of armor. Finally found a full set of the X-01 and it looks great. I have about a total of 10 full sets now. I hope to fill up most of the
    house in Diamond City will full sets before I am done with this game the first time.

    Power Armor Modifications

    Well I'm starting to get a bit preoccupied by modifying my power armor because I tend to get weapon/armor OCD in most games I play.

    I finally stumbled upon an almost-complete-set of X-01 near the glowing sea and it now has shark paint...love it!

    I don't like the pink paint color, even though I have the hot rod magazine for it. I might make one set with it, since I have a display now.

    Here are the quests and locations for getting some different colors.

    • Complete the quest: “When Freedom Calls” in The Minutemen to unlock a Minutemen paint scheme for T-45 Power Armor.
    • Complete the quest: Tradecraft to unlock a Railroad paint scheme for T-51 Power Armor.
    • Complete the quest: Atom Cats to unlock an Atom Cats paint scheme for T-60 Power Armor.
    • Complete the Brotherhood of Steel Quest: Shadow of Steel to unlock a BOS paint scheme for T-60Power Armor.
    • Complete the quest: Nuclear Family in The Institute to unlock an Institute paint scheme for X-01Power Armor.
    • Atom Cat is bought from the Power Armor Vendor at "Atom Cats Garage". Hot Pink is found at the "West Roxbury: Parking Lot Funhouse." Hot Rod is found at the "Robotics Disposal Ground." Finally, Shark is
      found, again, at "Atom Cats Garage."

    Power armor

    I just graduated to the T-51 and working on modifying it. I get really excited when I stumble upon a set of power armor. It's almost as exciting as finding a bobblehead.

    I used the full Golem armor set after it became available on my first walkthrough. Looks great and provides awesome protection for the most part. In NG+, I've started upgrading the Black Iron stuff.

    [/quote]I had to stop using it once I got to the tomb of giants. It did last me a long time though. I looked pretty damn awesome with that on and a scythe though.

    Havel's armour gave me a great edge over SIF. I managed to stay alive after a lot of hits and then burned the puppy. I tried light armour and rolling away but it didn't work.
