Something about the touch sensor, maybe? In any case, I can't eject or turn off/on the console with those buttons. Can obviously turn the 'bone on with the controller, so it's mainly an issue for ejecting, though power cycling wouldn't be doable, either.

    :)

    Hello

try unplugging the power cord 5 minutes...

Then press and hold the Bind (the button on the left of the console to link the controller) and the Eject button at the same time.

While holding together the BIND and EJECT button, press the power button and keep holding the BIND and EJECT.

Your xbox should turn on a special menu. If its working, try resetting while keeping your game on the HD, if its not working bad luck....

    Contact buttons not working.

The eject and the power button on my console aren't working. Is there any other way to eject the disk? My system doesn't have the manual eject orange sticker.

Power and eject buttons not working

    Hello Chuck,

We understand that your console isn't allowing you to press the power button on the console itself to turn it on/off.

Our recommendation here is to follow our guide on our website for turning the Xbox One off through the menu:

    From settings:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > Power & startup >
      Turn off or restart.
    3. Choose Full shutdown or Restart now.

After choosing to shut down the console, be sure to also unplug the console and leave it unplugged for 2 minutes.

After doing this process, only use the console to attempt powering it on.

Try this and let us know if this works.

    Best wishes!

you should take it to a microsoft store so they can tell you what's the problem, it is probably a hardware problem.
