Power A Xbox One Controller connected via USB... works and then quits working randomly....

I have a Power A Xbox One Controller that is wired. It will only connect via USB. I have used it on my Xbox One X and had no issues what so ever. I have been playing Warzone on my PC. 1st time i plugged in the controller it worked for an hour with no issues. I guess i should mention im and a laptop dell g3. Also its not just as simple as unplug and plug back in as sometimes it take 10 times before it works again. I thought maybe when I didnt touch it and computer would go to sleep but it has happened while playing the game. I have all the recent updates on USB drivers. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Xbox one controller stops working randomly

Please try to troubleshoot the issue with these instructions:

Remove the batteries from the controller and for testing purposes, find a Micro USB data cable. Make sure it's a real data cable, as phone charging cables often only have the power lines connected, but no data lines.

Connect the controller via that USB cable directly to the console and check if the controller works.

If the controller works flawlessly with the cable, unplug the USB cable from the console and plug it into a USB power bank or a USB charging plug. Check if your controller still works. If the controller works without problems while being powered via USB,
    then your batteries are faulty.

If the controller fails to work via direct USB connection or being powered through the USB, it might be defective and you need to get it repaired/replaced through

Issues with XB1 controller disconnecting? Thats not a flaw, thats a feature!

how do i play pc games with xbox 360 controller

You would need the 360 wireless adapter. or a wired usb controller

The charging cable is for power only and will not work to connect via USB

Controller first xboxone are doesn't work on S

    [...]

Could be because I bought my first xbox in Italy and this one come from UK??
The hardware of the Xbox One is "region free". So with the exception of the external power supply of the old Xbox One, every accessory will work with every Xbox One console.

As for the controller not connecting: Try connecting the controller with a Micro USB cable to the Xbox One S, and then check that you are able to control the console.

If it works via USB cable, open up the Xbox Accessories App, and make sure the controller has the most up-to-date firmware. Be careful not to break the connection during the firmware update, as this will leave the controller unusable, and it has to be sent
    in for replacement.

After the controller has been updated, it should be automatically be assigned to the console since it was connected to the console via USB.

After you remove the USB cable, the controller should now work with the console.

If not, you can try to re-bind it by pressing the small button on the front of the controller, and the Bind button below the Power button of the console. If you press those buttons, the Xbox logo on the controller and console should blink, and eventually
stop blinking and be solid lit again.

    Now the controller should work.

How to use Xbox Elite Series 2 audio jack while wirelessly connected to Win 10 PC?

    Hi,

The 3.5mm headphone jack on Xbox One/Series X|S controllers (including Elite controllers) does not work when connected via Bluetooth. It will only work via USB or the official Xbox wireless adaptor.
