Power A enhanced controller

Is this happening on Windows? May I know if you already tried to reinstall the controller driver and changing USB ports (if it is wired) to see if the issue persists?

it uses the generic drivers from microsoft, you cannot simply re install the driver when none is provided.

then contact power A for them to troubleshoot and possibly repair/replace the hardware. they are a third party company and in no way part of microsoft.

if the mute function is not turning off then there is little we can do as the power a controllers do not have an app to reconfigure them.

Enhanced Controller?

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

To confirm that the issue is with your controller, try to connect it directly at the back of your motherboard and see if it will work. Make sure that you're using a cable that supports data transfer.
