Potential Viva Piñata Sequel?

According to an article that's just popper up on Xbox Achievements, Rare could be hinting that Viva Piñata has potential for a sequel at some point in the future although the focus is currently on Kinect Sports Rivals.

Why Viva Piñata and Viva Piñata: Trouble In Paradise are in the list and Party Animals is not included in the Backward compatibility?

Is possibile that in future you add also Viva Pinata: Party Animals?

Ok.. I've seen so many recommendations about viva piñata that's its really peaked my interest lol. I'm gonna have to check it out. I'm assuming this is the very first viva piñata game that were talking about.

 

Would love to see a new VP!!! MY wife loved the first two and I didn't mind sinking a few hours into them too. Next Gen graphics would really make the world look awesome!!!

 

I actually played the first one for about 20 minutes and turned it off. I only bothered because it came with my Xbox and I decided to see what it was like. I don't really feel like I gave it a fair chance though. If a sequel came and there was a demo, it's
certainly something that I'd check out.

Normally I don't bother with laid back, party style or family directed games but I imagine that this would have a similar effect that UNO had on me. Something that I only played for a joke but actually spent countless hours on just chilling out, chatting
to people and enjoying a few relaxed games. Speaking of which, that's another game that I'd gladly welcome on to the Xbox One at a small price.

 

great, so not only has my wife fallen in love with Titanfall and taking up my gaming time, but now they are going to make a sequel to a game she loves... guess i it's time to buy another X1.

 

I pressured my girlfriend in to buying her own 3DS and it went brilliantly. Now I get countless hours of un-interrupted gaming time because she's as happy as I am! It may seem expensive buy buying a second X1 definitely has benefits for everyone

 

I played the original VP for months trying to figure out how to hatch an egg that mysteriously appeared in my garden. When I finally figured it out, it was worth it because I was rewarded with a freaking DRAGON! I named him Smaug.

If it's like VP or VP:TiP, I'll definitely be getting it. If it's like VPA, then forget it...

 

I have spent years trying to forget this name. Why Dynamic...why do this to me lol.

Joking aside, I will be happy for those who are interested in a follow up

 

loved the original VP! the little party games one was rubbish though

 

The game has a silly spin on racing. Why not release another.

 

My time with Viva Pinata back in 2007 can be summed up like this-

"Will you *** off already?!? Stop eating my Worms!"

 

It's a great game to play on a rainy day.
