    So, my dad purchased Minecraft Java for me in March of 2020, and I played it on Linux, never having any trouble signing in. Then on March 17 2022, I migrated my account from Mojang to Microsoft and while we initially had some trouble, after a few days (like two or three - I don't remember exactly), we got everything working. So from March of 2022 until mid June 2022, everything worked fine and I was able to sign in with my Microsoft Account and play Minecraft like I always had.

    At some point at the end of June, or beginning of July, I was getting the error "Sign-in blocked (account temporarily suspended)" when trying to sign in - a security response to a hacking attempt because there were failed sign-in attempts from places I've never been to outside Canada. We got that resolved, and I was able to sign in again, but I no longer had access to Minecraft, and now when I sign in to the Launcher, I only have the Demo Version available.

    I've tried signing out and back in, I've cleared the credential tokens in the launcher, I've removed my account and added it back in, I've verified that the launcher is up to date, and I spent two weeks trying to resolve this issue with Mojang Support, who, at the end of it all, said, "Well, your transaction ID tracks, we can see that your account *WAS* migrated properly using the same email you're trying to sign in with, and you've exhausted all the options we have, so you'll have to talk to Microsoft."

    So here I am. Mojang says the problem isn't them - it's Microsoft. And since I know it's bound to come up, yes, I did read *ALL* of the assorted "So You Have Migration Problems?" articles, and I've followed all the suggested fixes given in all of them - short of installing the Xbox Console Companion and the Xbox Application because those are exclusively Windows-related fixes, which won't work for me because I'm running Linux.

Since Minecraft Support suggested to contact Xbox I recommend speaking directly with an Xbox Agent regarding this. To get in contact with support, visit https://support.xbox.com/en-us/contact-us/. Click Contact us and select Games & Apps > I can't find a game, DLC, consumable > PC. Select See contact options and select Request a Call. Do not select message with an Xbox Gamer as they won't be able to assist you with this.

Please send us a screenshot of the error message. The main goal here is to have access to Minecraft Launcher and play the game. So first of all, let us verify your credentials and know where your license is and be connected to Minecraft services.

    1. Select the " See Contact Options" or "Request a Call" button
    2. Select the following drop-down menu options in the following order:
      What are you having trouble with? - XXXXXXXX
      What's the issue? -XXXXXXXXX
    3. The third box will ask you to describe your issue and then select the "Next" button.
    4. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.

    Hi, Geri - Thanks for reaching out.

    I'm Tyrone's father - the poor guy who's been doing the bulk of the troubleshooting here. Since we are running Linux, as was previously stated in the first message (above), NOT Windows - any solutions involving the Microsoft Store or the XBox app won't work.

    The Linux launcher for Minecraft Java works just fine and is updated regularly. We are able to sign in with no errors reported. We completed migration of Tyrone's Minecraft account in March of 2022, and it was working for a while. Now, however, it no longer works. Signing in isn't the problem - the problem is that Microsoft no longer recognizes Tyrone's account as that of a paid Minecraft user.

    We didn't change email addresses, we can't re-migrate, we aren't locked out of Tyrone's account, and we know the username and password - signing in works - we haven't forgotten any of the details - and it's the same account we migrated in March. Nothing there has changed.

    The account Order History, however, is now empty and in the Minecraft Java Edition launcher for Linux (we're using the Debian installer version) we only have access to the demo version.

    Mojang confirmed our transaction ID, and from March of 2020 to June of 2022, Minecraft worked fine. It's only very recently that Tyrone has suddenly and abruptly lost access to Minecraft. There is no error message - it's just not allowing us to load anything more than the demo and when we sign Tyrone into www.minecraft.net it no longer shows that we had already purchased Minecraft once, back in March of 2020.

    I actually tried to repeat the migration process, but the system said Tyrone's account was already migrated, and couldn't do it again.

    I spent weeks going back and forth with Mojang support trying everything imaginable: they confirmed the email on the account, the transaction ID of the original purchase, the migration status of the account, the launcher version, and our ability to sign in and add and remove accounts in the launcher. Nothing has made any difference and Tyrone has been unable to play Minecraft all summer, and Mojang ultimately concluded there was a problem on the Microsoft side of things, and here we are. This all seems to have started after Tyrone's account was temporarily suspended for what we believe was an attempt by an unauthorized person to gain access. We changed the password, tightened up the account security, and Tyrone was able to sign in again, only the order history is blank and Minecraft can now only be played in demo mode on that account.

    TLDR; Minecraft was purchased in 2020. The launcher works. We use Linux and Windows-specific solutions won't work. We have NO trouble with the username or password. Migration from Mojang was completed in early 2022. Order History is empty, we can only use the demo version, and I have run the literal gamut once already with Mojang's troubleshooting team.
