Possibly world corruption? (minecraft series X)

Okay, so. I was having problems with space, as everyone is now, because i didnt know there was such a small amount of it, i read online that clearing reserved data would fix it, so i did and ever sense my hardcore world with about 500 hours put into it has been unplayable, everytime i try and load in it says the same thing. "Cloud sync failed. cant sync this worlds cloud data with your device, Please check your internet connection and try again." I have already tried clearing my local saved games, and it got me a little closer to the point where it loaded a new syncing screen at got too 100%, but then it just gave me the same prompt. I also cleared local xbox 360 storage, and did a power cycle on my xbox, Im praying that the world is savable because of the ridiculous amount of time i poured into it, its my favorite minecraft world and its my 25th attempt at hardcore, please somebody save me

    :)

    Minecraft Series X World Corruption

Hello LukeWilliamson6, I hope everything is going well!

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support!

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

If you are still having the same issue, it’s possible that the local save for the game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.
    First, delete the local save:
    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
    2. Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
    3. Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
    4. Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
    1. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller.
    2. Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.
After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to Xbox Live.
Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

I wish you a lovely day, and I hope this helps you out!

    Kind Regards

    Stay safe, and happy gaming!

Can I get a copy of my 'corrupted’ Minecraft world from the Xbox cloud service?

Thanks. But my local save was not corrupted. It is that I did a Xbox factory reset. After that, I did try to re-sync my Minecraft world (500+MB) and the console said "the cloud save is corrupted".

Is it possible that I get the "corrupted" save from your cloud storage and then I can try to repair it? The Minecraft save is so precious to us. Is this possible?

Minecraft world “failed to sync properly”

I followed the steps and the world still seems to be de-synced/corrupted. I loaded, a saved and quit the world on the Xbox one, and powercycled, then loaded the world on the Series X, but the same message popped up. It did bring up a screen saying “syncing data for Minecraft” with a load bar, though. Any other ways to upload this world? *Apologies for the bad image quality*

Also, it might be worth noting that the world is labeled as being 456 MB on the Xbox series X, while only 350-ish on the Xbox One.

I’m trying to play on my survival world but it keeps saying it’s corrupted.

    Access Application Data\.minecraft\saves. ...

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.
