    Possibly Sold Used/Refurbished Elite 2 Controller from Walmart?


    Recently bought an Elite 2 controller from Walmart. When they got it out of the case, the box was sealed on both ends with the pull tab tape, so I didn't suspect anything.

    But when I opened the box it just seemed like the controller was possibly used or refurbished. There are a couple of scuff marks on the charging dock and a couple on the controller itself. It looked a bit like the charging cable had possibly been repackaged.

    So is it even possible that I would have gotten a used/refurbished controller from Walmart? Is there a way to find out?

    Yeah, looks like it was probably returned because the 14-day Game Pass trial code has already been redeemed. I'm just amazed that the seals on the box were somehow unbroken/not replaced if the box was opened and the controller used.

    Hello no way to find out. If a person brought and returned it it would go straight back on the shelf. I would return especially with the scuff marks showing. Paying to much for something that might be used or defective.
