    Possibly over heated, now extremely slow and refuses to do anything.


    Got EA NHL 18 yesterday, I played it with constant interrupting pauses where the game would occasionally crash. Today I tried it and it again crashed. Then it lit up but did not send a signal to my TV. I then swapped cable's and tvs and nothing. I followed
    the steps listed for a power cycle and eventually it did restart to a Green start screen. Tried power cycling again to a white screen with a code that went something like 8007007 offering to troubleshoot or turn off which i pressed. The next screen I hit restore
    and the next screen I hit save the data of games and the console made a noise and froze. Right now I've reset it again and it's currently stuck at 65% of something.

    Looking for a solution that does not involve me sending it to be replaced

    Progress not being update

    Having completed well over 100 "Spider" boards my achievement progress refuses to move past 65.

    Also the new EVENTS element is extremely slow in loading.

    Xbox 360 losing sound and showing green static overlay - overheating?

    Putting your xbox in your freezer is quite possibly one of the worst things you could do.

    Does sound like it's over heated & the video card has possibly fried.

    I would say your only option is to send it to Microsoft for repair.

    Does it do this with all games?

    If it's blinking, it usually means it's still downloading while off, or powering something. It's possible that your internet is just extremely slow right now so the system is taking forever to get it.

    You can blow compressed air through the vents to ensure the unit is as clean and dust free inside as possible. Do this with the unit off.

    Unexpected shutdowns are either due to heat or the unit thinking it is over heating.
