Possible to play co-op on the same console?

I recently just bought Fc4 and I heard it was co-op so you can play together with someone who also has xbox live and the game, but my brother and I were wondering if its also possible to play like splitscreen co-op on the same console, reason I ask is we
plan on setting up our xbox one in our projector room and thought it would be great if we could both play the game at the same time, I've looked for answers about this on google looks like no ones asked or answer this question.

I'm level 273 on NG+++ and happy to help anyone who needs it, I've solo'd every boss and pretty good at the whole PvP'in thing now so can help with anything! Love playing co-op!

Also it is possible to play co-op as I played through entirely with a buddy one play through, basically need to sign into the game at the same time and co-ordinate where you place your sign. Furthermore, being in the same Covenant seriously helps.

I also have other levels if needed ^^

It's fine but best if when playing co-op you both concentrate on shooting the same enemy when possible.

No, it's not possible to play co-op on different platforms. To play co-op with each other on Far Cry 5, you both need to be using the same platform.

If you're trying to play the games co-op, not all games have local co-op ability, sometimes referred to as couch co-op. Forza, while it has online co-op, it does not have local co-op.

There are sites out there that will discuss which games have co-op ability. If you want to play them split screen on the same console, look for games that say they support local co-op.

Couch co op means that they can play together in the same room without the need of a second tv and console, co op can generally mean 2 players but not necessarily that its on the same console it may involve 2 consoles and 2 tvs and they have to be online.
