    Possible to change to my own region and still keep the Kinect functions?


    Is there a way for me to change region to my own region and still keep the Kinect functions?

    Because when I choose "Sweden" as my region it wont allow me to pick "english" as my language. So in order for me to keep my Kinect functions I have to say that I live in countries other than Sweden. Is it really supposed to be this way?
    I cant even type using native swedish letters (å,ä,ö ) and keep my Kinect functions. How come Microsoft hasnt added english into the choices of languages for the region of Sweden so we still can keep the Kinect functions?

    It's not possible to change the region of an account. You would have to create a new account with the correct information.

    Keep in mind though, that if you don't actually live in the US, you will still have issues downloading content.

    No, you cannot do that, as the UK is an already established country for Xbox LIVE.

    Sorry to hear that english is not a feature in Sweden yet. I would recommend posting a suggestion to add it in the Xbox Feedback Forums if there isn't already one there that can be voted up.

    You think they've stopped making consoles and games that use Kinect now?

    That's almost as stupid as the people who were convinced that less functional XBox ONE without the Kinect had 10% more processing power.

    Though I'd welcome a change to keep moaners who don't own the console they're constantly attempting to slag off in their own little troll pen.

    Do voice commands work on new the Kinectless XB1?

    As it stands it is more of a programming issue. The mic system is set differently that the path the kinect takes to function. However if set correctly the kinect can be used as a mic. It is possible, and likely that there will be a function later on to use
    the mic with kinect function (more so considering the mic adapter release with extra functions) but still unlikely soon.

    They have mentioned that Kinect for 360 games wouldn't be compatible with the Kinect v2 for Xbox One. The processes and programming for the device changed that they wouldn't be compatible. There are a number of Kinect games for Xbox One that are great
    ways to keep in shape. I use Just Dance series, and my whole family still enjoys Fruit Ninja Kinect for Xbox One.

    Some of the Kinect titles for 360 are backwards compatible, but they don't utilize the Kinect functions, such as Disneyland Adventures.
