Discus and support Possible to change button mapping? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; How do you change the button mapping on this game?     change buttons

    They really need to change the buttons on leaving group, i sure im not the one, but it happens to me to offend that when i try to loot something i accidently leave group.. need to add are you sure or something like that

    One handed Gaming!

    Hi,

    One handed gaming is possible with the adaptive controller but I think you will need some extra Peripherals so it's possible to use multiple buttons. You can for example use a bigger button for to press with elbows (or feet) and an joystick for moving. You
    can change and extend the controller a lot so it will fit your needs.

    Possible to change button mapping?

    Those presets, plus the ability to swap gear up/down and I think clutch/ebrake, are all you've got. It's not full customization, sure, but frankly I'd be surprised if with all those configurations, you couldn't find something to suit you.

    Its possible that the dpad buttons may have been re-mapped for the account in question, you can launch the xbox accessories app on the console and find the controller that is having the issue under there. From there click configure and there will be options
    to change what inputs buttons are mapped to. Just a suggestion / thought, hope it helps.

    I know that it would be easier for the game to read and understand it, as it was done in the first elite controller. But the software used to map the buttons changes the controllers codes for buttons anyway. So the second question is, is it possible to map
    the paddles to some new event codes, that are not present on the controller (A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, etc.)?, Is it possible to just add the four 'paddle #' to the list that can be mapped and assign them new event codes? I'm not sure, because that's noy my area
    of expertise, but I think it's possible to do through some firmware update.

    I'm sorry but this isn't really something xbox can help with, since its probably a game bug. The only other possible cause of this issue could be you accidentally changing your button mapping.

    I don't see the control scheme that relies heavily on the "A" button as a negative at all, with so many different combat/weapon/power abilities to map, a control scheme needs to be as user friendly as possible, the MASS Effect games previous haven't been
    a "Button Masher" by no means, that's changed...:)
