Possible source of xbox controller disconect error and fix solution.

Hello, here were i live is hot as hell always and im getting the controller disconect error always after 10 or so minutes every single fxxxing time.

Controller is :

- with new batteries

- less than 1 meter from console.

- tried another controller -> same error.

- updated to latest firmware.

The problem as i see it is the following:

As i told before , where i live is very hot ambient temperature, and when console gets hot (not enough for shutting down but warm enough) controller gets disconnected, is a repeteable error (100% of the time , can send a video if you need), if i put a fan
in front of the console, i can play with no problem most of the time except in summer (40º+ ambient).

Only the conexion with the controller gets dropped not the wifi.

My console is always hot, and i preffer getting a little noise than that smell of baked silicon and not being able to play till night when its cooler, and also for my taste fan spins too slow ( xbox smells like a little oven after 10 minutes) and could affect
hardware in the long term (collector)

Will be in the future a patch for setting fan speed behaviour?, i think this should get rid of the problem with the controller disconnection.

Also, my console is in perfect working order, only the warranty label gone, can it be repaired with no cost? (except from the missing label it is still in warranty)

if you can aswer both of my question , ill be grateful for a long time.

Error 0x87e107f2 possible Fix/Solution

Step 1: Press Home

Step 2: Find your way to All settings on the Gear tab at bottom.

Step 3: Go to Disc & Blu-ray tab Selecting Blu-ray

Step 4: Select Persistent storage (This is like cache)

Step 5: Clear persistent storage 3 times.

Step 6: Press Home

Step 7: Find your way to All settings on the Gear tab at bottom.

Step 8: Go to Power & Startup tab Selecting Turn off or restart

Step 9: Select Full Shutdown

Step 10: When Console is fully shutdown remove all External devices. (Hard Drives/Chargers/Wireless receiving devices)

Step 11: Turn Console back on via the touch power button on front of console. (NOT VIA CONTROLLER)

Step 12: Once Console is back On you can then turn on controller.

Step 13: Sign out of Xbox Live via the Home button and going up to the upper left. (WAIT 30 SECONDS OR LONGER)

Step 14: Sign back into Xbox Live (WAIT ANOTHER 30 SECONDS OR LONGER)

Step 15: Select a digital game or app from your internal hard drive. (The game or app should have started properly with no errors)

Step 16: Once a game or app has properly started any external devices can be plugged back in.

 

NAT type: Restrict

This is a BOGUS fix. It doesnt fix anything. Windows is a serious shamble of garbage, unstable, made to be hacked code. I can run thru my every network setting in cmd and 3 seconds later windows has destoryed my networking back to its shamble of restrictions

Hi, I doubt there would be a feature added to manually control the fan speed. What I do know for sure though is that now you opened the Xbox up there is no option to get that Xbox repaired by Microsoft now or in the future as you voided any warranty.
