    SAY YOU WANT A REFUND FOR THE MONTH YOU PAID FOR
    . IF THE PERSON YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH DOES NOT CONFIRM THAT THEY CAN OFFER YOU A REFUND, ASK TO BE TRANSFERRED TO A SUPERVISOR.

    Honestly, it took me almost two hours to get it resolved, so I think I should have gotten more than my money back, but I'll settle for helping others do the same and never using Groove again.

    And, like so many of you, the code never came.

    So I called Microsoft Support (which was the number listed on my credit card statement charge from Groove), got transferred to Xbox Support, and then t took me almost two hours to get it, after being told the following misinformation multiple times:

    1.) "I can't find any promotion for three months free" (I could find it easily with a web search)

    2.) "Just keep waiting" (the code I was supposed to receive is supposed to expire in two days)

    3.) "Use the Xbox Support Forums so Microsoft can see your problem" (then who the heck am I talking to?!)

    4.) "Only a limited number of people were able to get that, and you are not eligible" (then the terms and conditions were a flat-out lie)

    5.) "You are not eligible because you turned off auto-renew" (see again: terms and conditions)

    but finally, someone gave me my money back.

    Nevermind. Contacted Xbox support again who after speaking to a different agent they were able to provide me with the Code I was after. (This was after I was told to post here as only the moderators can sort the issue). Close this thread down - but Microsoft,
