    Possible issue with the Backwards Compatibility being only for Preview members.


    So. One of my friends is a member of the Xbox One Preview Program, and he was playing a Backwards compatible title.

    I saw the game in the Popular With Friends section right next to my friends list.

    I selected the game and it took me to the Xbox Store where I was able to download the game, even though I am not a part of the program.

    It got to about 33% before I canceled it, so I don't know if would let me play it or not.

    This may not be a big issue if it doesn't let me play it, but I still think it was worth reporting

    Only a few will play for preview members at the moment but backwards compatibility is being released to everyone in November.

    Not all 360 games will be backwards compatible.

    Should I get an Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

    XBOX one has backward compatibility already. More games get dumped into the list for preview members in September and October and November for the rest. So XBOX1 should be a easy choice. Also confirmed all 360 free games with gold will be backward compatible
    right away. Well at least for preview members.

    Hi there, this is a good find. It's definitely something which needs to be looked into, but I believe that the preview updates enable to ability to actually be able to play the game(s).

    Only a few will play for preview members at the moment but backwards compatibility is being released to everyone in November.

    Not all 360 games will be backwards compatible.

    Some backwards compatible games have been made available to preview program members before being released to the public. However, I agree that there should be more testing done for all backwards compatible games.

    ^^The list you posted is for preview members only & not a full list of backwards compatible games when it is released for everyone.

    Unless you are in the Xbox preview program you will not have access to it until this fall. The Backwards compatibility has only been release to preview member right now. The only way to become a preview member is by invitation only. If i have answered
