possible GPU issues? Need Help...

So, I am baffled as to what is going on with my Xbox. I have not found any similar occurrences to what I am seeing. Granted I have not looked too terribly hard. When I turn my Xbox on, this is all I see. I can navigate the menus, and i can tell by hearing
the scrolling when you switch between menus. I can launch games, but this is the only thing I see. I tried moving the HDMI to a different port on the TV, unplugging and plugging in the HDMI. I even bought a brand new HDMI to see if that would alleviate the
issue at hand. Nothing. Has anyone seen a similar problem? Lastly, it is not the TV i made sure to check that as well. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

@a tired old guy that statement is definitely not always true, in a technical sense it is but if you direct the air properly you can use the xbox power supply, I have a 120 mm fan at the base of my xbox always keeping the gpu and cpu cool enough

If your console is booting up to that kind of garbled screen, then I'd believe that the GPU is on the fritz, and you should get your Xbox sent in for repair/replacement.

Ok, but can it be a GPU issue or not?

It's entirely possible that it can be a GPU issue, sure. The fact that the system faults when RAM is put in a specific slot points to a motherboard issue (to me anyway)...could even be a faulty motherboard that is also causing issues in the PCI-e lanes which would, in turn, cause GPU issues.

it is not possible to upgrade your laptop, if you require an updated gpu/apu then you need to purchase a newer laptop or use an external gpu, either way it is expensive, this is the problem with laptops.

It is possible for the Xbox to get GPU artifacts like a PC does, since they are essentially the same kind of device.

Keep playing normally and see if the problem gets worse. If possible, check if other games exhibit this issue as well.

Ensure that your Xbox has adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. If it continues to show these graphical artifacts at a predictable rate, or it gets to the point of abruptly shutting your Xbox down, then it is indeed an issue with the Xbox GPU and
your console will need to be sent in to Microsoft for repair.

Possibly. The videos show your GPU power consumption redlining. It's possible you have some failed(ing) capacitors on the GPU that are causing the freeze. Please borrow another video card if possible and try that and see if it still freezes. I don't want to send you out to buy things you don't need. Can you use onboard video to check it?
