possible game/stories

I have been thinking and two things happened one the world didn't explode, two does the mass effect universe have any books/comics/games that go over either the rachni wars to the krogan rebellion, or the reaper war from the last cycle? I know of the books
and comics just not sure if those two topics were covered I love the rachni (despite the rachni milkshake I mad in me1) and the krogan are possible my favorite race (yes I killed them off too...wrex wasn't there) I would love reading about anything to do about
them

Console Repair Choices?

Is it possible to choose getting either your Xbox One repaired, or a refurbished model sent to you? I'm asking because I've heard some horror stories about the standard exchange program.

 

So far, there have been no comics or novels detailing the Krogan Rebellion or the Rachni Wars. After the last novel BioWare had written (and how poorly received THAT was), it would seem that they're just focusing on the games for now.

@Master Wyvern: Yes there are some Mass Effect novels and comics, but none which focus on the Krogan Rebellion or the Rachni Wars which is what the OP was looking for. Though, even BioWare have distanced themselves from the fourth novel "Deception" due to
the overwhelming negative response from the fans and the inaccuracies contained within it.

True, but it is possible that the next game could possibly explain more, or even take place in the time period of which we were discussing. I have not read the novels or comic books yet, and I may never. Truth is, that part of the history, in my opinion
at least, was only meant to be softly touched on as it was never meant to have an expanded history due to the length of the war itself.

 

Personally I think they would be better off rebooting the franchise.

A prequel would be hard to do simply because the big events have been covered to such an extent that we already know what the result was.

The problem with a sequel are the endings to Mass Effect 3. No matter what you thought of their quality, they had vastly different repercussions for the galaxy.

Bioware in having such a rich universe have essentially written themselves into a corner.
