    Possible fix for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility online error


    After not having any luck taking backwards compatible 360 games online, I turned to the message boards to see if anyone else fixed this problem on their Xbox One. While none of the suggested solutions worked for me (two-factor authentication, redownloading
    profile, redownloading game) I finally was able to connect my 360 copy of Borderlands to the internet when I switched from a wired internet connection to a wireless one.

    Obviously there is still an issue with connecting BC games, but if you have a wired internet connection and 360 games won’t connect to XBL on your Xbox One you should try a wireless connection before giving up.

    The Xbox One will not have backwards compatibility. There
    could be the possibility of backwards compatibility later though.

    You would have to be playing the game on the One as well in order to play online with him. It's only possible to play online cross-platform if it's a 360 game that is backwards compatible on the One.
