Possible disc drive error? Any help appreciated.

Hello, I recently purchased my first new gen console and im experiencing something which I assume might be a disc drive error.

I installed Dying Light all the way, and when I try to start up the game I get "installation is almost finished..." message, and when I go into my games and apps to try to resume installation, it shows 99% for a second and then goes back into queue.

Not sure if this correlates, but the Dying Light image (on the disk pin in the dashboard and in my games and apps) is halfway cutoff.

I tried Dead Rising 3 just incase it was my Dying Light that was messed up, but Dead Rising 3 would keep saying installation stopped right when I started it. I tried to start the installation both offline and online, as well as after a hard reset. After
trying for awhile, it eventually started installing and finished with no problems, but now when I start the game im stuck on the loading screen before the main menu.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I assume this is something wrong with my disc drive because everything else with the console works perfectly (Digital games, parties, other apps, etc)

The disc drive could be bad, try another disc and if it gives the same issue you will need to call 18004MYXBOX for help with any possible repair.

I'm having this exact same issue. This is the third console I've had (in less than two months since first purchasing) so I'd rather avoid another replacement if possible. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I did an offline install and then an online update for Dead Rising 3, but im still having the issue of being stuck at the loading screen before any sort of menu appears.
