Possible corrupt gamer profile?

Hi everyone...in the middle of playing Gears 2 on Xbox One and everything suddenly froze. Every time I tried signing in with my gamer profile the game would freeze. I deleted my profile off the console and added it back again, but it's still doing it. We
tried playing the game in the 360 console, but the same thing happened. We get no error messages or anything - everything just freezes. It works perfectly with all the other profiles on the systems. Any ideas on what's happened or how to possibly fix it???
Really hoping to get this solved before October 11! Thank you so much!

try starting a new game and if it is possible too then chances are your save data is corrupt

It sounds like the saved game itself may be corrupt. If loading it from the menu, or from the in-game load screen causes possible issues with the game not loading, that's the most likely culprit. It's pretty rare for saved games to corrupt, but it can
happen, and each game handles it differently.

It is a possibility.

With discs, you would immediately think it is the disc itself. Scratches, smudges, etc. What I can propose is this, on your Xbox One console. Go to your Games and Apps, and highlight the selected game. Press select, and go to Manage Game.

You should be seeing a list of all saved data and DLC's associated with that game. Now, you'll need to look for the saved data that is associated directly with your profile. You'll need to delete that data. This won't affect anything such as stats gained,
and progress earned. It will mainly consist of current campaign progress, and mission check points.

Hopefully, this will address your issue, and you can get back to gaming.

It is very much possible that you have a different Microsoft account/email associated with your gamer profile on the console. It's possible as well that the gamer profile on the console is outdated/corrupted and needs to be re-downloaded. It's best to contact
the Xbox chat/phone support regarding this.

This could possibly be a result of a corrupt gamer profile. A simple fix would be to delete your profile and then re download it. I had the same problem and it worked like a charm.

Hyperdaemon

Try deleting your profile from the console (NOTE: Profile only! Do not delete Profile and Items!) and try recovering it from Xbox LIVE. This should solve the issue if your profile was corrupt.
