Possible Bug with Mute Function

Ran into an issue last night in which I was playing Titanfall with a friend in a party and was using the Xbox headphones connected to the controller. I went to grab dinner so I hit mute on the Xbox controller (the mute light on the controller turned amber
so I knew it was working). A while later my friend called me to let me know he could hear me. I went back and checked the controller and it looks like the controller turned off. What I think may have happened is that the mute on the controller worked as
long as the controller was on. However, the mute command never gets sent to the Kinect, so as soon as the controller powers off the mic activates on the Kinect.

Vizio tv remote code double mutes.

The only code that works with my Vizio e3d470vx television works with volume fine, but the mute function mutes one time, and then it is still sending the code, and it turns off mute as well. So the mute function is pointless because if you say Xbox mute,
it does not mute. This is the only remote code that works to control my tv. Any suggestions appreciated. It is just nice when I get a phone call or someone comes to the door.

 

How to Unmute myself

This also happened to me with the mute strangers function on gears of war 3. It is very irritating.
