They should bring it back. Xbox is meant to be positive. There ARE those who report just because they dont like you. As good or not good, the xbox 1 system is, it isnt perfect 24/7. Humans arent perfect. Thus the technology they make aint perfect either.
No computer program is perfect. Theres always that 0.000001% chance it could get glitched. And if our rep gets reviewed by a microsoft officer, whats to stop them that he or she is not biased.

You shouldnt get bad rep for being immature and ramming in forza 5 tag virus multiplayer game. Its a playground playlist and you should expect that kind of behaviour. For those on here who are UNDER 30 years of age, yay me, we get marked down in quitting
and not sticking rigidly to the game objective aka unsporting. We like to have fun. I have good rep on 360 and 1. And its not just friends who prefer player you on 360, several do this on 360. Where as on xbox 1, microsoft plays your dad and big brother, get
poor rep, live out the sentence.

Players should get marked down for quitting or subverting the way a game is meant to be played though smiles. Online games feature other people. Real people sitting down to play specific games.

If you agree to play doubles in tennis in real life, that's the fun game you're playing, if you decide mid-match that you'd have more fun playing jump the net and teabag the ball boy... you're ruining the game three other people wanted to play.

So if they'd rather not encounter you again, and instead to buddy up with people who want to play the game the way it was meant to be played, they're gonna do that. In video games that means reporting a player and hopefully never encountering them through
    matchmaking again. Heh ha.

There's a group of gamers that call dossing around at other gamers' expense 'fun' and there's a group that calls it 'griefing'. I think the group that calls dossing around 'fun' should doss around in singleplayer games. But they won't, because it's only
'fun' for most when they're dossing around to pretty much 'grief' other players. lol {XD

Haha the tennis example you just wrote made me lol Argo. I wonder if anyone has done that in a sport in real life.

Him playing tennis, this I got to see. Oh yea I have Kinect Sports Rivals too. I love playing the jet boating but I'm terrible with the tennis section because I've only played it once. It's hard not to tee-bag in Minecraft/Halo/COD. It's gaming, no need
to be soooo serious. But it's a good idea to try and show some respect. O yea and I know many who would "jump the net" and the ball boy, that sounds kinda funny. I would like them to bring back Prefer Player, but so far, Xbox 1's Rep system doesn't bother
me. I've had Xbox since late 2010 and have maintained a good rep throughout despite my quitting and 'jumping the net' and 'having fun'. You should try it, but if you're kinda too old to be doing so, I guess it may feel awkward. Have a fun or happy or sensible
or what ever you like or want to call it, weekend everyone.

The way it should work(this should've been a thing on the 360)

If you're in a game with somebody and you don't leave any feedback, it should be an automatic positive

@Aus~ I'd like to hear the BBC commentary if it happened at Wimbledon. They'd find a dry, toff way to describe it. lol =]

@smile~ If everybody in a game wants to mess around that's cool. But if one person is doing it when the majority just wanna game... that just uh, farting loudly, post-curry, in a lift full of people. Spiteful.

Conflating quitting with having fun though... that ain't on. Heh ha. Out of genuine interest, why do you quit? It's the same as losing only it effects another person negatively. Especially in one on one competitive games when quitting just before a loss.
Spiteful, it is. Not do it, you must. Mmm. lol

@gaz~ I think it does work like that. Time and no reports equals positive reputation, I think. I agree with smiles, Hoz and others that they should do a prefer player thing though. Just to increase the likelihood of being matched with good gamers who game
goodly, but who you might not want to add as friends. But have it not effect reputations so the system can't be gamed.

Sorry Smileskybird teabagging is totally unsporting, you already got the kill. And you are so good you are going to kill me multiple times. So why be scummy about it. Teabagging is an automatic bad sportsmanship/avoid report regardless on which side you
    are on.

I still T-bag on occasions and don't see anything wrong with it. It has nothing to do with being a good or bad sport. It is literaly a taunt and a tactic. It is literaly a device or method to throw off your opponents play. Very
few things will raise the blood pressure of a try-hard Player like getting T-bagged. They take it so personal and make it their single goal of revenge. In doing so, they neglect actually helping their Team to achieve victory.

  10. I've never seen the attraction of t-bagging. I don't see why simulating a sexual act is fun, speaks more to the mentality of the person doing it than anything else I think.

Comparing T-bagging in a Video Game
to a sexual act says a lot about a person as well. I've never seen T-bagging as an act of sex but I guess the first person irl to say , "I love it when you t-bag me" would leave me a little confused. Call me weird like that I guess.

T-bagging in Video Games is nothing more then a gesture itself. It's like waving a hand but Video Game Characters traditionaly have not had the ability to wave a hand. They traditionaly could crouch though, hence a T-bag.

What I find funny is that there are 2 levels before red.

The "Avoid Me" crowd must have had some idea that this was coming?

    It didn't just hit overnight.

Maybe they need to put an icon on the dashboard constantly reminding people of their rep level.
