ports are close

soory for my english...i have xbox one and i play online without any problems and my nat type is open...i open ports in my router and everything is ok...but when i try to see if the ports are really open in the websites that cheacking to see if your ports
open so it says that they are closed...why is that?...i know that i open the ports correct because i also checked the port of my uttorent their and it says that he is open...so should i just ignore what those sites say and continue to play online because like
i said i dont have any problem online and my nat type is open...or what can i do for this???

Check NAT type. If it says Strick, there are certain port that is close. Contact your ISP and let them open the port on your console.

Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:

•Port 88 (UDP)

•Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 80 (TCP)

•Port 500 (UDP)

•Port 3544 (UDP)

•Port 4500 (UDP)

After re-reading your post. You mean the ports on your TV are too close together to connect all of these cable? It's been 50 minutes.

NAT type "Open" has not the same meaning, as if you would go about and use a service and scan for "open" ports, or applications that are using the TCP/IP stack, and if an application are actually listening to the "out-side-World" (Internet) on a specific
port.

I would be suprise if you use your PC to scan port 3074, and it would state it's condition as open.

There's nothing wrong with the way your console communicates to the Internet-at-large.

What "websites" are you using to test your ports ? Some are just trying to get you to use their software , you say that your gaming works fine so im kinda in the "if it aint broke , don't fix it " camp...

 

Yes you right...i tried many sites that told me that they close...and yes my nat type open and i hear my friends online...so ignore it or what you say?

 

I say; If you scan for listening network port(s), I would be even more suprise if a service on your console, would actually be listening on port 3074.

You are confused, by the terms, Open NAT, and port scanning. One is a diagnosed behaviour of your NAT, and the latter one is scanning your network for listening ports.

Once again, there's nothing wrong with your console, or your network ports.
