Portal of Power problem

Discus and support Portal of Power problem in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My grandson has an Xbox One S ... the controller works fine but when you plug the Portal of Power in it doesn't get recognized.     Portal of Power problem


    My grandson has an Xbox One S ... the controller works fine but when you plug the Portal of Power in it doesn't get recognized. I thought the problem was with the portal so I replaced it, the new one doesn't work either.

    The Portal of Power for Xbox 360 is not compatible with Xbox One. For a Portal of Power to work on your console, I'm afraid it needs to be the one made specifically for Xbox One consoles.

    - Do you, by any chance, have a link to the Portal of Power you purchased?

    - Some portals may have a sticker on them (commonly on the bottom) could you check for it and let me know what it says?
