  1. Port Forward Successful, Killed My Wifi?!

Hey all. I have a TP-Link TL-WR841N router. Everything was running smoothly until I found multiplayer on MCC and Gears much more lag intensive than usual. I researched and set up port forwarding on the recommended ports. My NAT went from moderate to open
and I found some improvement. However, I learned that only wired devices worked and wifi devices could not connect to my router at all!

I was under the impression that the static IP I set up was unique to the Xbox (I used the one found in the Advanced Settings under Network Options on the console), meaning the IP and port forwarding only affected the Xbox. Can anyone shed light on this issue?
How can I fix it so only the Xbox One gets the open ports and my wifi is unaffected? Thanks

    :)

How would you port forward and/or enable UPnP on my router? My settings say "UPnP not successful."

    Help dmz xbox please

DMZ puts a heavy work load on your router CPU; Port Forwarding puts a lower load on it. Heavily loaded routers get slow; slow routers get you killed in FPS. Use Port Forwarding instead of the DMZ; you only need to forward ports
    3074 (TCP+UDP) and 88 (UDP only).

Only port forward port 3074 (TCP/UDP).

Also make sure that the firewall allow IPSec passthrough (if this is a configurable option).

You may also want to turn off UPnP whilst having network port(s) manually forwarded.

Regarding your WLAN clients, what exactly is it that doesn't work? Client can't do web browsing, or client can't authenticate itself?

Have you married your wifi extender with your router? You don't port forward in the extender you do that at the router. Anyway, port forwarding won't do anything in regards to connecting to the extender.

Once the extender is married to the router it should just be increasing the distance of the wifi signal. You should be able to connect to your wifi on which ever signal is the strongest (router/extender). Hope this helps. Good Luck!

What to do if no solution for xbox 360 internet

You still can port forwarding using the WiFi on your home. It will not interfere with anything else, my friend. All other applications will run just fine.
