Port fording help?

I have verizon HSI and don't understand how to do the whole port forwarding thing. I looked on different sites but the page i get directed to on my router looks different and don't know what to do. I have D-Link 2750B router, how do I go about forwarding
ports?

dam it why is there no shairch mode were the hell are the ports info ? topic is wrong do to there is no port forweding in it and thats what i was looking for xbox one live port opening fording .

D-Link 2750B is a gateway (modem and router ) they can be stubborn , if upnp works on there , you shouldn't need to forward anything...this is verizons instructions , did they not work ?

I'm at one of the parts, its telling me to go to ALG and go select FTP but all I see are SIP and IPsec

 

I would try the upnp first ....

Login Information

◾Gateway - 192.168.1.1

◾Login Username - admin

◾Login Password - (located on the device)

UPnP

1.Open a web browser.

2.Log into the router by entering 192.168.1.1 into the address bar of the internet browser.

3.If the router prompts you to enter the username and password. Use “admin” for the username and the password is located on the device labeled “login password”.

4.Select System on the top.

5.Select Universal Plug and Play on the submenu.

6.Check or uncheck the box for "Allow Other Network Users to Control Router's Network Features".

7.Check the box for "Enable Automatic Cleanup of Old Unused UPnP Services".

8.Change drop down to "Publish ALL WAN Connections".

9.Select Apply.

10.Click on OK.

 

After looking around a bit , it seams that Verizon has their own firmware on that gateway so that may be why your getting different looking menus , they may not want you to do it ...
