Porsche in forza

Includes 8 hour campaign looks like I'll be playing today. Apparently this was out a week ago which sort of brings up my biggest problem with the Xbox one it does a terrible job of advertising new dlc. Without the email I just got I would never have known
about this

Forza 3 Gamesave

You don't get all the cars you had in Forza 4 that you had in Forza 3. There is a specific set of cars for having reached Level 50 and finishing the career and having pre-ordered the game. Unless you wipe out your Forza 4 save file you can only import
your game once. As for Porsche, EA Sports paid for an exclusive license that is still in effect so no Porsche in Forza 4. The last time EA allowed Turn 10 to include Porsche, but this time they said no. They are 3 RUF Porsches in the game though.

 

Achievement

I am trying to get a achievement in Forza Horizon 3 called #Forzathon Triple The Triumph it tells me to do a championship in a Porsche to win a Porsche Carrera GT and I have done 5 championships in a Porsche and I have still not gotten the car

 

Got it since it was out.

Got the info from Xbox Wire and launch trailer on internet.

And saw several "windows/advertisements" on Xbox one dashboard and marketplace.

I found unfair that the new track isn't a free update (similar to Forza 5) and add 5-10 more Porsche for the expansion and more races for each section.

Cool expansion,anyway.

 

Yeah,i had it advertised on my dash above the deals with gold tab.

Will pick it up at some point,need to finish some other games first.

 

@Pkvas couldnt agree more regarding dlc coming out unnoticed, i raised the issue on uservoice around 18 months ago, you would think they would do something about it, as it would make them more money i would have thought they would be all for it

 

I heard that Porsche wer pulling their deal with Microsoft after discovering that the XBox ONE will be using Performance Enhancing Downloads!

 

I've still got plenty to do in the core Forza 6 game, so going to hold off until there's hopefully a 50% off deal (did the same with the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche pack, released at £16.00 and I eventually bought it for £8.00).

I visit the Forza hub nearly every time I boot up the game and therefore saw plenty of advertising for this DLC.

 

I get it down the road. And most likely I be finish the core career. I only just got the showcase races lift. So I be out of races sometime next month. If I keep playing the game. And not stop and not played FM6. And I getting close to 50 million credits
in FM6. And I one rich mother fer right now.

 

I need to get back to this game, I've got tons to do still. Just got distracted by other games. I will grab this though late at some point.

 

It's one of those games you can put down and then pick back up where you left off a month later. I've actually bought and sold this game 3 times since release. If I'm not playing a game due to back log of other games then I find it more economical to sell
it, then buy it back again at a later date rather than let the game depreciate on my shelf.

 

How can you guys play that game after they spent all the work in laser scanning the tracks, then have the one and only default FOV so large it warps the corners of the tracks? Even with the effects turned off the FOV is so large it straightens out the corners
on the tracks making them different from the real tracks. Its like racing looking thur a peep whole on a door or racing looking through the fish eyed lens of the in car cameras you see on TV.

 

So you won't play a game just because the tracks don't look 100% authentic seems like a stupid reason not to play a great game to me

 

As someone who used to race & work at Brands Hatch I can tell you that they've got it pretty much spot on.

I've also raced at Silverstone,although not the new layout,Spa & Monza.

Someone doesn't quite know what they are talking about.

You are never going to get it to look exactly like it does in real life

 

I wont play it because the back of the seat is laid all the way like I'm laying down. If you enjoy the game then play it. That's fine, I'm just asking how you guys are working around the extra,extra large FOV. If you tell me something I didn't know about
the game then I might just go and buy it. Stop being so dam sensitive, I'm not putting down your game I'm just asking if there is a workaround.
