Porsche expansion

I'm completely fed up with this game .....not only did I buy the special edition console which is a bunch of crap just as any other Xbox, it really doesn't make a difference what the Xbox looks like, but anyways.....what right do they have to just keep making
DLC PACKAGES that cost ridiculous amounts of money..... Not even one single Porsche is available for the standard game.....I think this crap is going way to far.....not only is the game a complete waste of time with its useless tracks......there's nothing
really that special about the cars except that there Porsche......there's other cars in the game which can withstand the same driving abilities or characteristics of the vehicle and whatever...... *** you Forza.....we deserve a Porsche....I don't care what
anyone says. I got your stupid console and game....but I get nothing from you....especially the digital version of the game which came with it from the beginning.... I'm so *** sick of your ***....I never liked Forza....nor do I plan on liking it....all your
after is pocket change. Maybe you would actually get some $ for the DLC if you weren't so greedy with the cars.

Porsche expansion.

Your not missing much, you have to do each race in a set car and usually its a class down from some of the cars in the race, needless to say your gonna have to use mods just to keep up with the pack or drop the ai down a couple of levels.

Unlike the F6 campaign the porsche mini game is not balanced at all, maybe it will improve as the drivatars learn from the players.

The very first porsche race is way too difficult, all the cars are just pulling away until they all crash on the same bend on every lap, allowing you to win.

Wheel settings still reset from time to time, this bug as been around since the beginning of f6, the devs just never bother fixing stuff properly, they don't have a clue.

EA holds the rights to use Porsche in racing/ driving games, they finally entered into a deal with Turn to to allow them to use it in the Forza games it had to be DLC. Heres a simple thing if you dont want to shell out an extra 20 for DLC then dont spend
it, it wont break the game, so dont blame them because you decided to spend the extra money on something you have a choice in..

 

I just don't get what's so special about a video game......it ruins the game because other people don't feel appreciated as a customer, when a certain person that has lots of money to spend, they can just buy any DLC they want compared to the guy who bought
the game just to play........like me....but now I don't even care to....this goes for all games.....especially this crap. DLC is okay, to an extent.......but to have 6 to 9 new Porsches come out and not even give the standard game one to enjoy is where I
draw the line......this will be my last Forza.......*** jerks

 

Excuse me.......not 6 to 9 Porsches, but in fact 21 of them all for a lousy $20, so they can keep sucking the life out of the game.

 

Especially playing over 400 races and only placing first one time....thanks again for the digital version.

 

Destinysnowhawk you blame Turn 10 & Forza but you obviously dont do any research before you go off about something you dont know any facts about.... EA games had the exclusive rights to use porsche, there hasnt been porches used in Forza games since Forza
4 in 2011.... EA still holds the rights to Porsche but they entered into an agreement with Turn 10 to allow them to use Porsche in the Forza games again.... You said you never liked Forza then why did you buy the console that came with the game, kinda seems
like you did it to yourself but in any case good bye...

 

Going to post this here because I don't see a discussion anywhere else. Has anyone had problems with the driving inputs since downloading the Porsche expansion? I have suddenly got what I will call "glitches", where all input controls seem to stop, but
particularly the throttle, and ALWAYS at the exact same location on a given track. Might I have a corrupted download? If so, is there a way to uninstall > reinstall the expansion short of uninstalling the entire game and starting from scratch?

 

RockinRonnie63 is it only happening with certain cars, or is it affecting all the cars in you're garage?

 

It seems to be about tracks more than cars. When I get some time I will try more cars on the same track. My experience so far seems that every car is affected at the exact same location in the track. It is very hard to drive when your throttle goes away
in the middle of a corner.

 

that is crazy, do you possibly have the help options on, like were it will auto brake and decelerate instead of you doing it??? I had to turn all that off cause it kept messing me up....

 

Thank You! I haven't changed my assists in months. Some how the install changed the braking settings and they were indeed set on assisted braking. I can fly again!

 

Sweet, glad to of helped you out... when you said it was the same area on the track with any of you're cars thats what made me think that was it... glad it wasnt a glitch from the DLC...

EA do not hold the license for Porsche no more. The only reason we have to pay for the pack in Forza 6 is because when Turn 10 required permission to use it in the game EA still held the license.

This bit of your statement "there hasn't been porches used in Forza games since Forza 4 in 2011" is incorrect. Porsche was, and still is in Forza Horizon 2.

 

EA did not lose the license till this year, but regardless I was posting this because the rant the OP had gone on complaining about something just a little research could have cleared up, and they would of known why they had to pay for Porsche DLC instead
of it coming with the game for free..

OOps I did forget about the Porsche DLC hitting Horizon 2 1st.
