PopUp still appears for a "no more friend"

Hi there,

some months ago I had a person (GenieChef) on my friends list. He is no friend anymore, but I still get the notifications when he gets online.

I even blocked him, but I cannot get rid of these notifications.

Yes, I did several hard resets und I deleted and redownloaded my profile. Nothing changes.

Can anybody solve this problem for me?

General friend question

Unable to Download Games that are >5 GB

I've been trying to download games that are available for free or even games I've paid for, but nothing over or around 5GB will download. I can successfully purchase them (including free/paid), but when the Active Downloads window appears, the progress
bar sits at zero for approx 1 minute, sometimes getting to one percent before it abruptly becomes full, a popup notification appears that says "Download Stopped for XYZ", and the Active Downloads window clears out, usually with "Syncing Cloud Storage" appearing
immediately afterward. If you have gone into the download itself, after the minute lag, the "Download Stopped" window still appears, and progress bar fills, and it says "Play Now" as an option. However, selecting this option launches the Games gallery, with
XYZ nowhere to be found. The storage device shows the yellow exclamation warning icon with the title of the game, with the full GB amount taken up. Of course, it only gives you the option to delete, but when I try to pull up the game download option from Download
History after deleting it, the popup notification appears for a moment with a loading circle, then abruptly closes itself without displaying anything. Restarting the console makes the popup actually display 'download again' but the cycle starts over from the
beginning when selected. ... What's very confusing is that I've successfully downloaded both a purchased game (Ducktales Remastered) and a free game (Ep 1 of King's Quest and 2 compatibility packs) that were

 

Did you previously have that person marked as a favorite? I feel like that setting might be stuck.

Try this: Add him back as a friend (temporarily), and make sure he is not marked as a favorite. Then un-friend him again. See if that will fix the issue.

 

Yes, I did. That was my first idea, too...

I tried that now and will report back, if it worked.
