Popping sounds through surround sound after March update

I am running my Xbox One through my Onkyo receiver via HDMI. Ever since the March update, I have been hearing popping sounds frequently in every channel. Sometimes it will get so bad that the receiver will drop the sound completely. Once again, I have
not had this issue until the March update. Also, I have done some troubleshooting, and I have determined that the receiver is not the problem. My PS3 and 360 work just fine on the other inputs. I have changed inputs and changed out cables. Please let me
know if this is a known issue or if this is anything that I can resolve myself. Thanks!

I think Xbox One has finally got Dolby Digital output through Optical?

im a big audiofile, i really am hoping that Dolby Digital Surround Sound is in the march update.

 

DVD audio out of sync with video

I'm having the exact same problem. Doesn't matter if sound is coming through surround sound system or through speakers. After a 10-15 minutes, sound doesn't sync with video. Hope MS fixes this soon with an update.

 

Apparently this is a known issue according to an ambassador I chated with this morning. Expected to be fixed with April update. I have the crackling as well. It only goes away if I change to stereo uncompressed. Very frustrating but nothing that can be fixed
from our end. Its up to MS. Scary.
