Poping noise with headset adaptor

I have been using the adaptor for a month now on my turtle beach x12 and sudenly it starts making this poping noise ive tried unpluging it all and ive searched the internet but i have found nothing please help [sorry for the grammer
had to write this on the xbox one]

Headset adaptor is making noise

So just today the headset adaptor makes noises if the wire connecting the headset to the adaptor is touched its unbearable please help

 

Headset Adapter Static ONLY when using Micro-USB (instead of batteries)

Hi, I have the same problem as laser it seems or similar , I'm using a scuf controller and I'm trying to play wired and when i plug it into the controller with or without the batteries a constant static noise is present. Without the usb connected theres
no static noise when the batteries are in but i want to play with wired. The headset I'm using is the turtle beach headsets x12's through the headset adaptor.

I don't know what to do, any suggestions or solutions ?

thanks for the support hopefully microsoft will fix this in a future update

 

Make sure the controller is up to date it might fix the problem.
