Pop-up notifications causing screen to go black

Hi,

My xbox was working great until today whenever I get a notification the screen goes black and the notification kind of glitches and then after it disappears the screen comes back.

Does anyone know what causes this?

Notifications vanishing

I cant get notifications anymore. They pop up on my screen and i cant click them after they go off there aren't in notifications. Friend requests,party invites, nothing, it pops up on my screen for a few seconds and than vanishes.

Achievement notifications not displaying

I have the same problem today. Achievements notifications don't pop up on screen but they have been counted to my account. Just didn't pop up on screen. I can see them at Community section too. Yesterday everything was fine. Other notifications work fine.

Hi

I can't answer why this is happening but lets try a few things to see if we can clear it.

1. Whilst console is on press and hold power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds, till it fully shuts down.

2. unplug from the wall power outlet and the back of the Xbox for 30 seconds

3. Plug back in and power back up.

If this doesn't fix the issue, try a console reset.

Go to settings, system, console info, reset console, select the option to reset keeping all games and apps.

If you can't access settings to do this follow these steps.

1. Whilst console is on press and hold power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds till it fully shuts down.

2. Press and hold both the bind and eject buttons, then press the power button, keep the bind and eject buttons pressed till you hear a second power chime.

3. From the troubleshooter menu, select reset to factory defaults and then reset keeping all games and apps.

Same here...Asus PG27UQ...Anytime i get an achievement,message,xbox alert or open game bar (WIN+G) the screen goes black to show the pop up notification in SDR then when notification goes away screen goes black when going back into HDR. Does this when
adjusting the volume too.. pretty annoying

Well the pop up to delete that file is causing a harmful pop up notification and I’m not going to break my computer because of deleting a file it seems important

mine shows the notifications pop on the screen but nothing shows up in the notification tab, hope this gets fixed.
