Pop up game and party notifications

I don’t recieve my game and party invite. I tried resetting my Xbox to factory settings (twice) and it still doesn’t show up. Yes I have notifications on in settings. I really need those notifications. I’ve been trying to solve it since yesterday morning.
I also switched accounts to see if it was a account issue but my notifications still didn’t show up.

Can't see when friends are sending me game or party invites. All my notification settings are on

I recently haven't been able to see when people are sending me party or game invites. The notification doesn't pop up on screen. My settings for notifications are all on.

Can't receive Social Notifications But can send out.

I can't receive any Social Notifications, such as messages, party invites, and game invites. I receive the messages but not pop up notifies me that I have received it, when I send out a message or game/Party invite the notification for it being sent is shown......so
the popup function works.....just not when I receive them.....

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

I'm talking about notification whilst playing games, like when someone signs in and you see their online, if I'm playing a game whilst in an XBL party and someone in the party goes away it would be good when they change their status to away or busy a notification
pops up for me and the others in the party, like wise for me if I go away to do something I just change my status and a notification pops up for the others in the party.

So turning off Party & game notifications didn't stop the notifications, but going into system notifications and unchecking "Show banners" stopped the pop ups from appearing. Thanks again for the info.

Update:

Tonight I was on Xbox and achievement notification were not popping again apart from 2 but they all unlocked perfectly fine but also a party notification from my friend did not pop up.

Just notification over all seem to be intermittent from time to time.
