  1. Poor Xbox One Support


    I had very poor customer service when I needed to straighten my XBOX warranty status to reflect my 2 year extended warranty status that I has purchased with the device directly from online Microsoft store, and not only manufacturer warranty. I already paid
    extra 49$ for it and I had such poor customer service and support. Originally, I had to submit a ticket after ticket "number (Mod Removed- Personal ) and (Mod Removed- Personal)" to get this
    issue straightened but it has been almost a month with no follow up or feedback and only to learn both tickets has been closed without nay sort of remedy or follow up!!!

    This process has taken almost a month where it was supposed to take 2 days max. I had to submit a third ticket number (Mod Removed- Personal) for the same purpose. This is very poor customer
    service and I am really disappointed. Anyone else had such a terrible service!!!

    Thank you for contacting Forum support.

    Sorry to hear there is issues with applying the warranty. I do have a question for you though;
    Did you buy this extended warranty from a Microsoft store
    or another store?

    If this was purchased from a Microsoft store then the store agent would have applied it to the account, or if you contact a live agent they could apply it too (make sure you have Proof of purchase for the extended warranty).

    If the extended warranty was purchased from any other store then it will only apply to that store. It would not be added to the console warranty, but for the store warranty for the console.

    ^Basically if the console is not in warranty, then the store will apply their 2 year warrant but you would need to go to that store for help.

    Sorry to hear that you had a Bad exerience wihh the support. Personally i had never an issue. Had a 360 and a Band 2 for an repair and had no trouble at all.. Hope that your issue will be fixed. Try to Set up a call back from the support team. Maybe they
    could help you...

    Thanks for replying and keeping everyone updated. Sorry that you're going through this and it definitely can be frustrating. Regarding the Microsoft Complete purchase for the extended warranty, you are correct that it would apply at the time of purchase
    since you got it alongside the console and accessory purchase at that time. I did this myself when I purchased my Xbox One S console from the Microsoft Store online. Just in case you'd like to read them completely, I'm including a link for the PDF documents

    In regard to the latest ticket/inquiry you've made, it is standard that at minimum it would take 72 hours for any higher tier of support to review the request that was made. Since its possible that there may have been some movement on your case, you may
    wish to
    request a call back from Support
    and when they answer, provide them the ticket/case number and request an update on the status.

    Microsoft complete was purchased directly from Microsoft online store alongside the console and other accessories. Now 72 hours from third ticket have passed and no follow up what so ever. Very disappointing!!!

    That's really bad and unacceptable, but to answer your question, no, I've always had a positive experience with support.
