Poor Xbox customer service

Discus and support Poor Xbox customer service in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is anybody else suffering with very poor customer service? Why as a paying customer am I stuck contacting a forum for my son being banned from his Xbox...     Is anybody else suffering with very poor customer service? Why as a paying customer am I stuck contacting a forum for my son being banned from his Xbox love account? Sent now four message to the forum on banning and had a general reply that I have read over
    a hundred times on different people's questions too. Phone the ok help line to be told I am sorry we can not help contact the forum???

    Talk about very poor customer service but seems all I can do is send a hundred emails to the banning forum until I get fed up and move over to playstation !!

    @op your issue is you bought the srong regionL code

    They only send an one off code if yyou lurchase out of region code that doesnt match your account region

    They dont havd Ny records of the Actual code itself as they are unique and would be a privacy violation if they read the code

    They only give an exchange with. Photo of the card that is with any console and only one time as a one off

    Your balanace is there however you csnt use it until like onyx said you match the balance with ykur account region

    But you may encounter issues with downloading content

    This is why you dont buy out of region codes or set your account region to something you arent actually in

    Onyx is correct you just cant see the balancr in the account due to the fact you bouvht the wrong regional code

    You can always see it at commerce.microsoft.com

    If you bought uk points because it was cheaper but you actually live in nether lands the points would only be usable in uk accounts which means you would have to migrate to thst region

    Or you have an uk account and bought your local currency like russian points like onyx. Said you will have issues biying content you would have to match your actual region

    Customer support has nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement so there is no way they can help you.

    When you post in the ban/suspension forums you will only get told the reason for the ban.

    That's it,there is no appealing the ban & it will never get overturned.

    Your son broke either the terms & conditions or the code of conduct & that is why he was banned.

    All you can do now is make sure he doesn't do it again if he starts a new account.

    Not poor customer service at all.

  6. I prefer playstation, and it's not about getting my son unbanned, but the reasons given don't explain exactly the reason. So like you say stop my son doing it again is a little hard with the limited information. One of the reasons given is playing with someone
    who has hacked software! How is my 13 year old son joining games online meant to know so one in the game is play with hacked software?? Microsoft can't ban the people who have the hacked software so ban the people who happen to play in the same lobby?

    The information on the ban has a list of a possible 10 things my don may have done to be banned but does not give exact reason and it is this information I want and no one can help.

    So my statement is still valid poor customer service for a service you pay good money for!

    It's easy to tell if you enter a hacked lobby.

    Most of the time these hacked lobbies are done by invite only so chances are your son knew exactly what he was doing.

    If he entered one by mistake he should of quit straight away & he wouldn't of been banned.

    People who create these hacked lobbies are banned.

    Well not something I know anything about, not a gamer just a father. But that was just one of the ten things listed as a possible banning reason.

    What I want to know is the exact reason so I can educate my son, he say he does not know exactly what he did wrong and at 13 and I am not surprised.

    He says he entered a lobby but left after about a few minutes and he said his friend invited him a and he has not been banned.

    Even staying in a modded lobby for 1 minute is enought to get banned.

    If his friend did invite him then chances are that they will get banned as well.

    As for educating your son that's simple,read through the code of conduct & terms & conditions,they both explain what can & can not be done on xbox live.

    No one here can give you any more info.The only place the enforcement team read is here

    Like said above you get invited to a hacked lobby, That said if they managed to hack a match made game there probably wouldnt be any enforcement as you had no way of knowing,

    Your son broke the rules simple, In.my opinion there shouldn't even be a account ban for hacking, A complete system ban should be enforced, You agreed to the t and cs It specifically says any tampering of system or games could cause you to be prosecuted,
    Be happy there isn't a solicitors letter coming through the post.

    I have been on xbox since day one of the service and have never had any warnings or suspensions.

    I might sound hard but it is what it is.

    There's the problem right there, try parenting correctly and looking at age ratings.

    Poor customer service

    This has been their policy when repairing devices in countries that do not have a repair location near to you.

    Unfortunately you will have to send it to their nearest repair facility, with you paying postage, and they will send you a replacement back.

    That's an industry issue, not an Xbox issue, launch day patches are on every platform. It's a tough time to have slow Internet.
