Poor WiFi on Xbox One X

Everything is the same between the two consoles and the router with the exception of the One S being in a room further away. I even tried to contact support but kept getting told I can't speak to someone about this issue.

Sorry to hear about your issue, have you tried looking into your router settings? Maybe try googling some info about your particular router and port forwarding? Hope you find a solution.

I recently just got a One X to replace my One S. The very first thing I noticed was that I was getting abysmal wifi performance on the One X compared to my old One S. I did all kinds of trouble shooting and
searching online.* It appears that it has been a historic issue with the wifi performance on the One X however I was not able to see where anyone was able to find a solution.

I ended up setting up my One S in a room further away from my router than my One X. The network results both in speed, latency, and packet loss were genuinely concerning for the One X.

I did basic trouble shooting: restart console, power cycle console, restart router, etc. Both systems were connected via 5ghz, IPv4 & IPv6, Open NAT.

Has anyone had any luck initiating a warranty repair or repair in general from Microsoft to have issues like this fixed?

*Yes I understand that hardwiring in will solve this network issue. The best I can do in this regard is a powerline adapter that underperforms the wifi.

It's my wifi won't connect to my xbox everything else works fine on the wifi but the wifi won't connect to my xbox one x

Speed Test your network?

While this might not be the source of your issue, I found that in the past my Cable company had bad lines in my home and the WiFi 200 speed was below 10. They were the source of my poor Xbox connection.
