    Poor Quality Xbox One Controllers


    Has any one else had major problems with GENUINE XBOX cheap nasty shoddy controllers ceasing to work and smoking?

    How do i get a replacement pad when the website wont allow me to register my serial number?

    I purchased my Xbox One in November 2014 and since then i have been through 7 original xbox controllers :-

    4 replaced by my retailer under the 1yr warranty due to a different issue on each occasion, 1 bought because i broke it, 1 bought as a spare due to shoddy pads keep breaking and 1 replaced on extended warranty 1 month out of cover.

    So now i am sitting here in 2020 with my 3 month old pad not working at all and smelling of burning and my now out of warranty spare pad that is rarely seen out of its box (that has only been used a couple of times) making almost every game unplayable due
    to drift on RS.

    Retailer is refusing to replace the broken pad this time even though the pad cannot be turned on and smells of burning,

    MS website doesn't allow me to register my product serial number to get replacement on the pad under warranty,

    Nor can i speak to anyone about the fact that a boxed and rarely used pad fails within a week of normal use.

    When my pads are not in use they are in the box in the draw or just in the draw, not accidental damage.

    I own 2 that I've had since launch and no issues. My kids also have 2 controllers as well. They tend to throw them and those are still working fine.

    I've have gone through 2 xbox one controllers in less then a year. Ten months to be exact. For one the charging ports suck. Not made to play and charge at same time unless you're one to not move around much. Secondly, the bumpers lack any feel of pressure
    sensitivity and don't take abuse very well. Then there is the left stick issue floating in a certain direction. I have a 360 controller that is 2 years old and has not a single problem with some where around 1900 hours on it. The only thing better I see with
    new controllers is the hiding of the battery. Very displeased.
