    Poor customer service and non working equipment


    I would like to know why the xbox tv and movies app doesn't work, and why customer service has no direct telephone number, and why customers haven't been informed about these issues. I also would like to know when these issues will be resolved and how
    Microsoft intends to repay customer for selling a non working product and services to customers, as xbox live is a prepaid service

    If you'd like to post the issues you're having, we can help troubleshoot it here. Personally I'm not aware of any widespread issues pertaining to the TV and movies app and they typically wouldn't compensate for that.

    Otherwise, you can contact support via chat or by requesting a call back at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you're not seeing those options, change your category/topic.
    Typically billing issues will always give those options.

    I don't think your response is relevant as i was informed by the customer service rep that there has been high call volumes due to my specific problem and please Xbox ambassador's no more responses i know they pay you to keep a lid on things, this is to
    inform others, also i paid money for Microsoft equipment i'm not responsible for tech support Microsoft is so no i wont be fixing Microsoft's problems for them, the took my money for a device and or services they need to make it work, and as far as set up
    video's you should forward that to xbox support as well, because you download the app from the Microsoft store you don't set anything up. And i wonder why ambassador wouldn't be familiar with this process and understand there is nothing that can be done by
    the end user if the app isn't working correctly, But you did a wonderful job of showing how little Xbox and Microsoft care about non working equipment and software I thank you for you aid in that respect

    Something tells me that there isn't anything wrong with it, its just not working for you specifically. Perhaps go through some youtube videos to walk you through how to set it up

    As you have already spoken to support and they stated it is a known issue, then you will need to wait for the fix or contact them again.

    As far as why they won't pay, that is per the terms of service you agreed to when you signed up:

    Why wouldn't Xbox or Microsoft compensate, all of the services are prepaid, if i don't receive service it is basically theft, also i'm not seeking compensation, just fix the problem. and i'm glad that 2 Xbox ambassador's are in the dark about this problem.
    as far as whats happening the app doesn't work i can't watch my purchased content when we start the app we see our PURCHASED movies we try to start a movie and are either given an error code or the screen goes all white noise fuzzy at which point the Xbox
    no longer responds and has to be unplugged to restart it. And while you not aware Xbox support is , just this morning while on the phone after an hour of online [mod removed] the agent made me aware that the center was having problems due to high call volumes
    about my specific problem and they could do nothing as their system was down for system wide updating
