    Poor Customer Serive


    Hello

    My name is Cormac and I recently purchased an xbox bundle from Microsoft direct plus xbox live 3-month Gold Membership.

    After receiving the package the controller did not work properly and kept cutting out and we
    did not receive the 3months Gold membership



    At this stage I am very frustrated with everything. I have had several calls with customer support as well as online chats with agents. Eventually one customer support agent said I should have the controller repaired - I refused his suggestion (as the
    controller was less than a week old at this stage) So he agreed that I should send back the controller for replacement. He sent me on the UPS label and I had to arrange collection. This collection was yesterday (Monday 4th July).

    I was contacted today be an agent Edward and now he tells me it will take 14 days for the controller to be sent to me.

    NOW at this stage I hope you can understand my frustration with Customer Support in Microsoft (or lack thereof). There has to be something that can be done sooner than another 14 days.



    I purchased from Microsoft in good fate but feel as this product never worked and I still have not received my 3 months Gold membership.

    Sorry to hear of your issues. First off, I wouldn't share your personal information on any visible forum. People could exploit this. Second, when you mail order anything, you have no choice but to mail back any items that are faulty. They couldn't offer
    a service such as sending a replacement first due to people not returning the faulty item.

    That said, I'm sure your situation is very frustrating. A question about the gold membership, I see you posted a code for it, does it not work when entered?

    I do agree that a 14 day turnaround is long. For a purchase less than 28 days old, they should send out a new replacement after receiving the faulty item back. Unfortunately, I'm sure it must say in the small print that this wait time on faulty items could
    be applicable.

    I'm sure this will be resolved within the expected time frame and you'll be enjoying all the benefits Xbox one and Gold Live have to offer.

    Just want to Thank You very much for your quick reply and help - I make a stupid mistake - I had copied that info and pasted it there by mistake. Any you were 100% correct - someone stole the code that I posted and used it. I felt that everyone on here
    would be interested in helping people not steeling from them when they make a mistake. Anyhow Moderator and Ambassador thanks again for everything.
