  1. Poor Audio When Streaming Xbox to Laptop

I've been streaming my Xbox to my laptop and I'm using the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 headset. When I turn my headphones on, they'll connect directly to the Xbox but when I try using the party chat, I can't hear anybody. I found out that I have to connect my headphones to my laptop instead and change the audio settings in the control panel and assign the headset as the default device.

Alright, now I can hear the party chat but now my audio sounds like ****. When connected to the Xbox, the game audio is crisp. When I set the output device on my laptop to the computer speakers, the game audio sounds like laptop speakers but it's still clear. When I change the output to "Headset Earphone" (Turtle Beach), the game audio sounds muffled and distorted.

Does anybody have a solution or a workaround to this? I there a way to change some settings so that the audio isn't poor through the laptop while still being able to use the party chat?

I believe when streaming to a computer, the Console Companion takes the party chat audio and routes it through the laptop rather than the Xbox. Is there a way to re-route the party chat audio back through the Xbox so that all audio is coming directly from the Xbox?

    :)

video but no sound through xbox app

Hello, I'm Felipe and I'm an independent Community Expert, and I'll do my best to help you.

It sounds like you are experiencing some issues with the audio when streaming from your Xbox Series X to your laptop through the Xbox app. Here are a few things you can try:

Check the audio settings on your Xbox. Make sure that the audio output is set to the correct format and that the volume is turned up.

Check the audio settings on your laptop. Make sure that the volume is turned up and that the correct audio device is selected.

Try updating the audio drivers on your laptop. Outdated or corrupt audio drivers can cause issues with sound playback. You can usually find and download the latest audio drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Try using a different HDMI cable. A faulty or damaged HDMI cable can cause issues with audio playback.

Try disabling any audio enhancements on your laptop. Some audio enhancements can cause issues with sound playback, so it's worth disabling them to see if that helps.

If none of the above steps work, you can try contacting Xbox support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or escalate the issue to a higher level of support.

How do I connect Xbox one x to my laptop?

If you're talking about streaming to the xbox app over network, see here:
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/how-to-use-game-streaming

If you're talking about using the HDMI out port on your laptop as an HDMI in port to play the xbox one X on your laptop screen, that is impossible as all HDMI ports on laptops are output only.

In order to use your xbox one X on your laptop you will need a capture device with HDMI in and a USB 3.0 connection to your laptop in order to get the video and audio on your laptop screen. The first one that comes to mind is the
