PoolNation FX... What do you guys think?

As most of you know PoolNation FX was not only just released today on XBOX ONE, but it is also free with GWG (reg: $13.99).

My first impression of this game is.. I really like. I really haven't got into the Career mode yet, but playing with the AI or Practice Mode. Although the AI on Easy is still kind of hard to beat right now.. but I am sure it will become much easier as I
level up.

The only downside is the long loading times. Other then that this game is pretty cool.

What do you guys think?

Games with Gold (June 2015)

Why not make PoolNation FX a free game since this is the third month in a row now.

 

Poker? Pure Hold'em or otherwise

I had heard that about Pure Hold'EM (Beta), disappointing. But I'm with you - at this point some cards and an (optional, please) mic like the free one from over a decade ago would be better than... nothing.

On a side note (on my own post ;p ): I love the billiards game (PoolNation FX). Maybe let them do it? Or anyone? hehe

 

It's ok for free with gwg. Use to play a lot of pool with my mates in real life when I was younger so it brought back memories of those days.

 

Haven't tried it yet - I'll let you know when I do.

 

Downloaded it but I did not feel like playing.

 

I like it a lot more than the other pool game don't really like that the career starts with 9 ball

 

As far as pool games go it's a good little game.

 

Update: I am really enjoying this game.. however the AI (on easy) is a cheater!! Took me about a half hour to beat "Luke". Darn hacker!

 

I like it more than I thought I would. The menus are a little clunky and the loading speed is horrendous.

 

@brandiesel1 - Agreed. It's more or less the initial loading times, those remind me of the old PS1 load times. The menus I agree are clunky. I do like you can press "B" to skip so you don't have to watch the AI shoot and take 90 years to aim.

 

So far, it's great aside from the issues already mentioned (clunky menus and horrendous load times).

 

I didn't know you could use "B" to skip. That's great.

 

good game, as others have said a little glitchy, audio cut outs, also played several games online and had background music but no sound effects.

 

@brandiesel1 - At first neither did I, I was just messing around press buttons during the AI's turn and low and behold I was able to skip.
