    Policy & Enforcement

So, today I've spent some of my time talking to the wonderful people that run xbox support, not they're great and were as helpful as they could be, however, they couldn't help my situation in the slightest and suggested I post on here as some of the Policy
& Enforcement team apparently come on here. So I've been blocked from any form of communication on my xbox one. As I
PAY for a service I expect to get the
FULL service, not half of it. I have not been told what the reason behind this block is, I've tried to review it but they've turned me down at the first step, I've called and online chatted with
support but apparently they can't help me as it's not in their domain. Now I want this fixed. The longer this goes on the more I will ask in my refund. I play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege with my friends a lot and the fact I can't communicate with them is
an outrage. I have a feeling of what the encounter is referring too and I can't wait to argue my point as I have a lot of ammunition in my defence. Someone from Policy & Enforcement team contact me with regards to this matter as soon as possible.

    :)

    Policy & Enforcement

    Hello Nath,

The information to post on the forums is slightly outdated as the Enforcement Team almost exclusively uses their website these days:
    http://enforcement.xbox.com/

I suspect you may have already visited that page as you mentioned a case review, but that is the absolute best place to deal with this as they do not frequent the forums and we on the forums do not have the tool-set to help in this instance.

As regards getting a reduced service, and so on, the Xbox Live Code of Conduct and Terms of Use are fairly clear that breaching them can lead to loss of service and so there's not usually an avenue to compensation for this loss of service due to breaching
    those two agreements.

I understand it might be frustrating that this doesn't solve your problem, but I hope it helps.

No one from the enforcement team reads these forums & they will not contact you.

The only thing you can do is ask for a case review here
    enforcement.xbox.com/.../HowTo

But you say you have done that so you will have to wait out the suspension.

Doesn't matter if you pay for xbox live,if you are caught breaking the CoC/ToU you will get punished, something you agreed to when you started your account & you definitely wont get a refund for any lost time on live.

You can also log in to the site I linked to see any enforcement action on your account & an email would of been sent to the address linked to your account explaining why you were suspended.

Cheers for the feedback guys, I have no idea how I can go about contacting the team then, xbox help said to post on here but I guess they're as clueless as I am. The fact is I wish to dispute this and I want proof of the breach of conduct that's why I want
to contact them. If they have been proven to have done the wrong move by blocking my account from certain activities then I should be able to seek compensation.

Again,as per the ToU/CoC you agreed to they are under no obligation to show you any proof they have due to privacy laws etc.

Phone/chat support often tell people to post here when they can't help which they shouldn't,they should direct you to the case review page.

My account on Xbox has been banned forever. I do not agree with this punishment. I had been suspended for "verbal abuse" yet the entire time I was online I was always in chats with my friends. I got suspended for two weeks in October and then in December,
right after my suspension ended it said I was permanently banned. This is funny to me considering I had not been suspended in about 5 years, then out of the blue I all of a sudden get suspended/banned twice in 2 months as soon I get an Xbox One. I NEVER had
this issue on 360. And the most frustrating part of all is that your support team has no answers for me and you conveniently have no way of contacting the Enforcement Team. That's just great. You give these people the power to ban players but you give them
the freedom to avoid contact from these players when we try to get answers. That's abuse of power in my eyes. I have been playing on Xbox for over a decade on multiple accounts. The main account I have now has been active since 2007. And this is the way you
treat a loyal customer? I've done nothing wrong and that's why it is so upsetting. All the time and especially money I have put into Microsoft over the years was all for nothing now. Are you gonna refund me thousands of dollars for all the consoles I've bought,
games I've bought, add-ons, memberships, etc.? I didn't think so. This isn't right. It's a shame that there is no one to even talk to about getting this ban reversed. I now am going to make the switch to PS4 because I have nothing left I can do on Xbox. Everything
has been taken from me. And I'm sure you don't care because I'm only one person and you have millions online so I'm insignificant to you. But it sucks that after all the support I've given Xbox this is how I get treated in the end. All the friends I've made
I can no longer talk to and play with because I can't even access my account at all to see my friends list so I can make a new account and add them back. Thanks for handling loyalty this way. I appreciate being treated like I don't matter. And the funniest
part of all is that the ban basically states I'm too horrible of a person to be allowed online yet when you look at my online reputation meter it is still green and says I have good rep. So that makes a lot of sense. You need to make contact info for Enforcement
Team. Because I'm not the only one who feels this way. There are entire forums dedicated to people aggravated that they can't get in touch with anyone either. Do better, Microsoft. This is ridiculous and it upsets me that I have to break ties with Xbox after
all these years. Maybe Sony will treat us better. The sad fact of the matter is, Enforcement Team and no one else from Microsoft will probably see these posts so we are just left to sit in our purgatory. They don't care about the community as much as they
say they do or else they would make more of an effort to fix these problems and reach back out to us. We will always get some sort of excuse. It's revolting. But welcome to life, right? Give power to people who don't deserve it then keep them out of reach
of the general public. It sucks to see all of the years I've put into my account all go to waste and to lose all the people I enjoyed talking with. Whatever, man. I had to use my other email just to be able to post this comment since my main account is gone
for good. My gamertag was Divine Poetics. It's been a nice run. Goodbye, Xbox.

You are correct. No one from Enforcement will read this. You can contact them here
enforcement.xbox.com/Home and also open a case review. Worth a shot depending on the type of ban you r were issued. Give it a shot and see what happens

  10. axemator, I already tried doing a case review last month and they just said the decision was upheld. Didn't give me any proof as to what happened. And once the reviews is done, there's no other way to get a hold of them. It's truly unfathomable how they
seriously don't give any means of contact. Cowards. Can't believe a major corporation does this. Actually, yeah I can. *** yeah, 'Merica. I just needed to vent. I know they'll never see this. But *** them.

If the decision was upheld then that's it.

As I said in an earlier post, they are under no obligation to show you any evidence if you are banned/suspended & you agreed to that when you started your account.

    Enforcement Policy?

If someone harasses you just report them or block those persons from further abuse. Retaliating counts as harassment and is object to enforcement acts.

That being said the enforcement team doesn't uses the forums.

To check your suspension, the enforcement policy or if eligible for a case review: https://enforcement.xbox.com

    Enforcement policy!

You should log into the enforcement team website for information where you can also submit a case review if the suspension is eligible.
    http://enforcement.xbox.com/home

BTW, defending ones self is not an excuse for breaking the code of conduct. You should simply report/block and move on.

The enforcement team does not use the forums. For information about your suspension and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com

    Enforcement policy!

    Hi Pablo,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, you will not be able to reach the enforcement team here on the forums. I recommend visiting our Enforcement website for all info regarding Bans/Suspensions.

If you were suspended for longer than a day you can also submit a case review from the same website. Unfortunately, if the ban was for 24 hours you are unable to do a case review.

You can find steps for submitting a case review here: https://enforcement.xbox.com

To see how to submit a case review, please check out the following link:

    https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/howto?length=4#sub-topic0-

As there is nothing more we can do here on the forums, I will go ahead and lock the thread to prevent repetitive answers.

    I hope this helps.

    Brad

No, they are not. And those policies can't be enforced without a check-in. These policies are the whole point of that.
